Sometimes plans change. Here's how to reschedule or cancel your coaching sessions.

Rescheduling a Session

How to Reschedule

  1. Go to Dashboard > Sessions
  2. Find the session you want to reschedule
  3. Click the menu icon (⋯) and select Reschedule
  4. Select a new date and time from available slots
  5. Optionally add a reason for rescheduling
  6. Click Reschedule to confirm

Rescheduling Rules

The rescheduling process depends on how much notice you give:

When Approval is Required

If you reschedule between 24-48 hours before your session:

  1. Your reschedule request is sent to the coach
  2. You'll see a "Reschedule Request Pending" badge on your session
  3. The coach has 48 hours to approve or reject
  4. You'll be notified once they respond
  5. If approved, the session moves to the new time
  6. If rejected or expired, the session stays at the original time

Best Practices

  • Reschedule as early as possible to avoid needing approval
  • Choose a time you can commit to
  • Add a reason when rescheduling to help your coach understand
  • Check for approval status if you rescheduled within 48 hours

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Dashboard > Sessions
  2. Find the session you want to cancel
  3. Click Cancel Session
  4. Select a reason (optional)
  5. Confirm cancellation

Cancellation Policies

Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel:

Each coach sets their own cancellation policy. Check their profile for specific terms before booking.

Free Intro Calls

  • Can be cancelled anytime
  • No payment involved, so no refund needed
  • Still courteous to cancel early if possible

What Happens When You Cancel

For Paid Sessions

  1. Session is removed from your schedule
  2. Refund processed (if eligible) within 5-10 business days
  3. Coach notified of the cancellation
  4. Time slot reopens for others to book

For Intro Calls

  1. Session is removed from schedule
  2. Coach notified of cancellation
  3. No payment to process

If Your Coach Reschedules

If your coach needs to change the session time:

  • The session is moved instantly to the new time
  • You'll receive a notification with the new date and time
  • The coach may provide a reason for the change
  • Contact your coach if the new time doesn't work for you

If Your Coach Cancels

Sometimes coaches need to cancel too:

What to Expect

  • You'll receive an email notification
  • A full refund is automatically processed
  • You can rebook with the same coach
  • Or find another coach if preferred

Frequent Cancellations

If a coach cancels frequently:

  • Consider finding a different coach
  • Check reviews for reliability feedback
  • Contact support if there's an issue

No-Shows

If You Miss a Session

  • No refund is typically provided
  • The session counts as completed
  • Message your coach to explain
  • Some coaches may offer a one-time exception

If Your Coach Doesn't Show

Wait 10-15 minutes, then:

  1. Send a message to check if they're joining
  2. If no response, leave the call
  3. Contact support for a full refund
  4. Consider booking with a different coach

Emergency Cancellations

Life emergencies happen. If you have an emergency:

  1. Cancel the session as soon as possible
  2. Message your coach explaining the situation
  3. Contact support if you need help with refund
  4. Most coaches are understanding about genuine emergencies

Requesting a Different Coach

If you've had sessions but want to switch coaches:

  1. Cancel any upcoming sessions (with proper notice)
  2. Browse for a new coach
  3. Book an intro call with your new choice
  4. No penalty for switching coaches

You're never locked into working with a specific coach. Find someone who's the right fit for you.

Can I get a refund if I don't like my session?

We don't offer refunds for completed sessions. That's why we recommend:

  • Starting with a free intro call
  • Booking one session at a time initially
  • Communicating concerns to your coach

What if I have technical issues and miss my session?

Contact support immediately with details:

  • What happened
  • When it occurred
  • Any error messages

We'll work with you and the coach to find a fair solution.

Can I pause my sessions temporarily?

Yes! Simply don't book new sessions. When you're ready:

  • Return to the platform
  • Book with your existing coach
  • Or find a new coach

There's no subscription to pause - you only pay per session.
