Booking Sessions
Learn how to book coaching sessions, from free intro calls to regular paid sessions.
Types of Sessions
Free Intro Call
- Duration: Usually 15 minutes
- Purpose: Get to know the coach, discuss your goals
- Cost: Free
- Availability: One per coach
Paid Sessions
Coaches typically offer several session lengths:
- 30 minutes: Quick check-ins, focused topics
- 45 minutes: Standard coaching session
- 60 minutes: Deep dives, comprehensive sessions
How to Book
Step 1: Choose a Coach
Browse the coaches page and find someone who matches your needs.
Step 2: View Availability
On the coach's profile, you'll see their availability calendar showing open slots.
Step 3: Select a Time
Click on an available time slot that works for you. Consider:
- Your timezone (automatically converted)
- Buffer time before/after if needed
Step 4: Choose Session Type
Select between:
- Free intro call (if available)
- Paid session (choose duration)
Step 5: Confirm & Pay
- Review the booking details
- Enter payment information (for paid sessions)
- Confirm your booking
Step 6: Get Confirmation
You'll receive:
- Email confirmation
- Calendar invite
- Link to join the video call
Managing Bookings
View Your Sessions
Go to Dashboard > Sessions to see:
- Upcoming sessions
- Past sessions
- Session history
Rescheduling
Need to change the time?
- Go to the session in your dashboard
- Click Reschedule
- Choose a new available slot
- Confirm the change
Rescheduling policies vary by coach. Check their profile for specific terms.
Cancellation
To cancel a session:
- Go to the session in your dashboard
- Click Cancel Session
- Confirm cancellation
Cancellation Policy:
- Free intro calls: Cancel anytime
- Paid sessions: See coach's cancellation policy (typically 24-48 hours notice required for refund)
Before Your Session
- Test your setup: Check camera and microphone
- Find a quiet space: Minimize distractions
- Prepare topics: Think about what you want to discuss
- Be on time: Join a few minutes early
