Account Settings
Learn how to manage your Coachive account settings, update your profile, and configure your preferences as a coach.
Accessing Settings
- Click your profile icon in the top right
- Select Settings from the dropdown
- Or go directly to Dashboard > Settings
Profile Information
Basic Information
Update your personal details:
- Name: How you appear to clients
- Profile Photo: Upload a professional photo
- Location: Your city and timezone
- Bio: A short description about yourself
Updating Your Photo
- Go to Settings > Profile
- Click on your current photo or the placeholder
- Upload a new image (JPG, PNG, max 5MB)
- Crop and adjust if needed
- Save changes
Tips for a good profile photo:
- Use a clear, recent photo
- Face the camera with a friendly expression
- Good lighting (natural light works best)
- Professional but approachable
Coach Profile Settings
As a coach, you have additional profile settings:
Coach Bio & Headline
- Write a compelling bio that showcases your expertise
- Craft a headline that captures what you offer
Specialties
- Select your coaching specialties
- Add relevant tags for discoverability
Credentials
- Add certifications and qualifications
- Include relevant experience
Video Introduction
- Upload an intro video to connect with potential clients
- Keep it under 2 minutes

Account Security
Changing Your Password
- Go to Settings > Security
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click Update Password
Password requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- Mix of letters and numbers
- Recommended: special characters
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security:
- Go to Settings > Security
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the verification code
- Save your backup codes securely
Recommended apps:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- 1Password
Active Sessions
View and manage where you're logged in:
- Go to Settings > Security
- See all active sessions
- Click Log out on any suspicious sessions
Notification Preferences
Email Notifications
Choose which emails you receive:

| Session Reminders | 24h and 1h before sessions |
| New Bookings | When clients book sessions |
| New Messages | When you receive messages |
| Payout Notifications | When payouts are processed |
| Marketing | News and updates (optional) |
To update:
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Toggle each notification type
- Changes save automatically
In-App Notifications
Configure browser notifications:
- Allow/block browser notifications
- Set quiet hours (coming soon)
Payout Settings
Connecting Stripe
To receive payments:
- Go to Settings > Payments
- Click Connect Stripe
- Complete the Stripe onboarding
- Verify your identity

Viewing Earnings
- Go to Dashboard > Earnings
- View your earnings summary
- Track pending payouts
- Download transaction history
Timezone Settings
Why Timezone Matters
Your timezone affects:
- When clients see your available times
- Session reminders
- Calendar integrations
Setting Your Timezone
- Go to Settings > Preferences
- Select your timezone from dropdown
- Save changes
Make sure your timezone is correct - it affects how clients see your availability!
Language Preferences
Changing Language
- Go to Settings > Preferences
- Select your preferred language
- The interface will update

Availability Settings
Setting Your Hours
- Go to Settings > Availability or Dashboard > Availability
- Set your working hours for each day
- Block out unavailable times
- Save changes

Data & Privacy
Downloading Your Data
Request a copy of your data:
- Go to Settings > Privacy
- Click Download My Data
- We'll email you when it's ready
- Download within 7 days
Privacy Settings
Control your data:
- Profile visibility: Who can see your profile
- Analytics: Opt out of anonymous analytics
- Marketing: Email communication preferences
Deleting Your Account
Before Deleting
As a coach, ensure you:
- Complete or cancel all scheduled sessions
- Notify your clients
- Withdraw all pending earnings
- Download any data you need
How to Delete
- Go to Settings > Account
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Click Delete Account
- Enter your password
- Confirm deletion
What Gets Deleted
- Your coach profile and personal information
- Message history
- Session history
- Payment methods
What We Keep
For legal/tax purposes, we retain:
- Transaction records (7 years)
- Basic account info for those records
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to withdraw earnings and download any data you want to keep first.
